Big Ten

My 2010 Big Ten predictions

The 2010-2011 season is here and I have made up my season predictions.  This is just my thoughts and nobody else. Let us know how you think the season will end up in the Big Ten.

#1. This hard for me to say as a Michigan fan. The Buckeys are going to be solid again, led by their Junior QB this year Terrelle Pryor. In my opinion they will be the front runner to in winning the Big Ten this year.  Ohio St will win all but maybe two games, they  have to travel to Wisconsin and Iowa this year could be tough. The rival Michigan Ohio St game will be good but wolverines playing in Columbus could be tough for such a young team.

( conf 7-1)(overall 11-1)

#2. Strong team again this year and a decent looking schedule, other then traveling to the desert to play Arizona in week 3 and at the Big House in week 6. They will be good in fact I think they will hand Ohio St only loss this year in Iowa. Other then that  I think Penn St might go in there with a win. QB Stanzi is back and the D is strong again watch out Big Ten!

(conf 6-2)(overall 10-2)

#3. Wisconsin will be lead by there stud RB John Clay. They have a lot of home games which might help them. The Season opener at UNLV will be tough, also ASU will travel to Camp Randall that will be a great game to. I think Michigan, Ohio St and Iowa will be there only losses this year in conference.

(conf 5-3)(overall 9-3 )

#4. The wolverines are young but for sure have got the talent. We now have a seasoned QB in Tate Forcier and have two great backups behind him. The Wolverines will win games this year, will be in a bowl game, and coach Rodriquez will be back to coach again next year fans.  The defense is young but they will do fine.  This will be a great year Michigan fans, they start the season with two tough games, playing Uconn then Notre in South Bend. I have the Wolverines winning there first 6 games till they play Iowa at home. I have them losing two good games against Penn St & Ohio St.

(conf 5-3)(overall 9-3) GO BLUE!

#5. Penn St has lost QB Darryl Clark but still have RB sensation Evan Royster. The Nitany Lions may not have the QB, but will have Royster and the Penn St defense to help them. I have the Lions up there but they will struggle, they will  still find a way to win games.

(conf 4-4)(overall 8-4)

#6. Michigan St “little brother,” they will win games but struggle to win some to. Rough schedule could get the best of them or will it?

(conf 4-4)(overall 7-5)

#7. Had some injuries during the spring which may hurt them this season. Through the tough schedule that may hurt them, but they have a lot of home games in West Lafayette.

(conf 4-4)(overall 7-5)

#8. You are probably wondering why, but I just have a feeling this year instead of dead last. Might win a few but they will still struggle like they always have at football.

(conf 3-5)(overall 6-6)

#9. They lost a good QB in Mike Kafka they will struggle in the Big Ten this year. Well at least there not last.

(conf 3-5)(overall 5-7)

#10 Not much to say here really, they lost a lot of guys last year including Juice Williams. They will struggle this year and the QB is a red shirt freshman, it could get ugly. Maybe in two years or so fans.

(conf 3-5)(overall 5 -7)

#11.
With a top 5 schedule this year in the country, I have to say the Gophers season might get ugly! They might start the season 2-0 but have to play USC in week 3. Then the schedule just takes off from there starting with a road game at Wisconsin then away at Purdue, Penn St, Ohio St at home. Then Michigan St away then Illinois and finally Iowa last at home. I feel bad for the Gophers this year, they will do worst then last year and wont make a bowl game.

(conf 1-7)(overall 4-8)
