Now their defense –which was a train wreck-, is even worse than last year.

Football betting fans should consider the Wolverines are 5-1 against the main rivals Ohio State, Michigan State, and Notre Dame, where their only win came against the Fighting Irish last season, and it seems like this won’t change at all in the upcoming season.

I know you are probably thinking “they will be fine, their offense is pretty good.” Yeah it is, but it doesn’t change the fact that they have been a joke since Bo Schembechler, Gary Moeller, and Lloyd Carr left the program.
Rodriguez is making a transition, but it doesn’t seem to be going smoothly at all. Just remember in 2009 when the Detroit Free Press reported that Rodriguez and his staff were habitually violating NCAA limits on practice times and off-season workouts.

In addition, their schedule looks brutal in the beginning.

First, they have a season opener against a hard opponent in the Connecticut Huskies at Ann Arbor, then they travel to Notre Dame to play against the Irish, then they host the Michigan State Spartans, and they finish a cruel start with a visit to Ohio State.

If Michigan wants a Bowl shot, they will have to get a couple of wins in those four games, at least.

The main question for them will be about their defense. Can that defense be competitive enough to give the offense a chance?

The indoor outdoor club seats have sold about 75% of them an those will go quick to.

After 2 losing seasons the Wolverines look to bounce back to how they usually play. With the new renovations that took place, that should bring in even more fans to the already Big House. Also should keep the sound in the stadium to keep it loud for the away teams. All in all the new looking stadium looks great! The fans will love it and we hope for good things for Michigan in this 2010 season.

After adding Nebraska out of the Big 12 conf, the Big Ten will have its 12th team and now will be able to have a two division conference, and most of all a Championship Game.

With rivalries in the Big Ten, like the Ohio St/Michigan, Michigan St/Michigan will they break the rivalries up? The Michigan/Ohio St game is better then Christmas for fans of both. Michigan and Ohio St might be left in the same division so they can play each other every year in November like they always have.

Michigan has to big rivalries, one against Michigan St and Ohio St. Penn St has become more of a rivalry. ”There’s a lot to think about geographically; there’s a lot to think about competitively; they’ll tell us what it is and we’ll go from there,” U-M football coach Rich Rodriguez said. “Either way it works, we’re going to play (Ohio State) every year, we’re going to play Michigan State every year. I’m sure every school will have maybe two rivalries, no matter how it works out. We have our two there.”

How would you split the teams up? would you keep those rivalry teams together?

For now they are the only team that has accepted, but soon the Big Ten will want to expand to 16 teams. The University will enter the Big Ten play in 2012. Now with 12 teams the Big Ten, we will be able to break off into two, six team divisions. This will give us a Championship game that we have always wanted.

The Cornhuskers are not known as a powerhouse school in football like Michigan, but will be a great addition to the Conference and in my opinion another great football school in the conference. They have had there seasons and lately haven’t had a great season, but they are not no pushover team, they are for real and I am excited to see this match up with the wolverines.

So welcome Nebraska to the Big Ten! GO BLUE

The 6-5, 350 pound Aundrey Walker, who plays on the Offensive Line, has received a scholarship offer from Michigan. Other schools of interest in walker are Illinois, Michigan St, Notre Dame,Ohio St, Penn St, USC, and West Virginia. For his size Walker moves really well. Walker had visited Ann Arbor in February, he listed the Wolverines in his top three for favorite schools.

6-5, 220 pound Quarterback Cardale Jones has some interest in Michigan after he visited last week and attended some of the team practices. Jones says “It raised my interest level in them and I can see myself there,” Jones said after the the visit. “It really was a good vibe, especially with their quarterback situation right now. I watched film and watched their whole practice, and they run the same offense we run here at Glenville, so it would be an easy transition.” He has received offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan St, and West Virginia.

The Wolverines are also taking a look at Linebacker Andre Sturdivant, Dana Day, Nick Davis, Shane Wynn from Glenville.

Jarrell a 5-9 197 pound had rushed for over 1,049 yards and 12 touchdowns for his team on 151 carries as a junior. Besides the wolverines, Texas Tech, Oregon State, Texas A&M, Tulsa, Utah, are all interested in him and have been recruiting him real hard.

Oliver if recruited will return to play with a couple of his old teammates from high school. Herron and Woolfolk he had both played with, and Darryl Stonum just down the road from there. Jarrell wont make his decision till the summer or even fall time but his visit to Michigan makes his choice pretty strong.

He now is a defendant in a nearly $1-million breach-of-contract lawsuit stemming from his involvement in a condominium complex in Tuscaloosa, Ala., according to the Tuscaloosa news and the Associated Press. The suit follows one filed last summer involving a condominium complex that never materialized in Blacksburg, Va.

Last August, a Birmingham, Ala., bank sued Rodriguez and his partners for $3.9 million, charging they defaulted on a loan for the Legends of Blacksburg, a condo complex near Virginia Tech’s football stadium. The suit was filed in South Carolina because of a Spartanburg bank’s involvement in an initial $26-million loan.

What else can go wrong for coach Rodriquez?

Some have said that Tate should be the starter and have Denard (shoelace) be the backup QB, also putting him in a different position as coach Rod has said. With a guy that can run that fast, and so athletic, that boy has to be on the field somewhere.

Incoming Devin Gardner, some people saying he will red shirt his first season at Michigan. My thoughts are that he just may be the back up QB for Forcier this year and have Denard Play another position. All three guys are damn good QB’s, but one of them will be the starter for the 2010 season. Who will you choose? Let us no what you think on the QB spot.

Reminder the 2010 Spring will be Saturday, April 17th, at Michigan Stadium! BE THERE!!

Well it seems that the Anti-Rodriguez Regime is smiling! All those “michigan fans and alumni” that claim to love that University are finding a smug sense of satisfaction now that the NCAA has found Michigan guilty of over-working and excessive practice requirements.

Here’s my two cents for anyone that’s interested. The worst thing you can say about this staff is that they work too hard? I’ll take that. Lloyd Carr’s players were so soft that they literally told on Rich Rod and Co. Yes, if there are requirements, than they need to be followed. I love the fact that we have a coach that wants to use every single second allowed and few more to make this team the absolute best it can be.

Another knock on coach is, that he brings in the wrong kind of player and these guys aren’t characteristically Michigan material. They won’t be saying that when Demar Dorsey is leaving cleat marks up and down sideline after sideline. Lloyd Carr had as many off field occurrences if not more. Marlin Jackson, one of Michigans favorite corners literally punched a kid and that never affected his status or Lloyd’s. Kelly Baraka saw a very prominent career go,”up in smoke.” Let’s not even mention the acts of Larry Harrison, as well as others. People had no trouble dismissing these actions. Now if a kid has any questionable traits whatsoever its a knock on the program. I choose to base my judgements on what they do once they’re enrolled.

The absolute bottom line is, this team is still playing in the Big House every Saturday, running out of the same tunnel, wearing the most recognizable helmets in the country, and representing the city of Ann Arbor as well as its University.
There are going to be people that love to watch us fall from grace. You can’t fall if you weren’t at the top to begin with. So when people say how about your Wolverines, turn to them smile and say enjoy your time now because at some point WE WILL BE BACK ON TOP and they can resume hating on us from the back of the line!
