ANN ARBOR,MI– The Big Ten has been in the works in bringing in another team to the Conference. Β It will have 12-18 months to find there team. So far we have have had interests in Notre Dame, Cincinnati, Missouri.
Bringing in a team like Texas would create another real solid team in the Conference Β on top of Michigan, Ohio St, Penn St, Iowa, Wisconsin. Texas is already the highest in the country in revenue, because of its most tv appearances every year.
I think if they were goin to bring in a team, it should be a team from the east coast somewhere. Texas is really not in the area of the Big Ten schools. If I was to come up with a team, my choices would be Missouri, or a school from the Big East Conference. Maybe Pitt, or Syracuse or another team in the Big East. It makes since having a school back east, but to have Texas Longhorns in our conference doesn’t make sense. To me Notre Dame would be the best fit, only being an hour or so from Ann Arbor, and being close to any other schools. But the chance of that happening is slim.
My thoughts our they will bring in a school that is close, and I think they will bring in Cincinnati since they are in Ohio and are close to every other school. Bringin in the Bearcats would bring in a decent football team, but not a powerhouse.
What our your thoughts fans on the Big Ten maybe adding Texas?

If you bring in a team at least make sure they also have a good B-Ball team. I think WVU would be a great addition to the Big-10

If the Big Ten adds Another team it should be from the Big east if not the upper Big 12 like Kansas Kansas state Nebraska or Iowa state. I say this because i’am a native born Michigan Faithful but i live in Texas so i completely agree with you it makes no sense to add Texas from such a distance. If not them then why not Notre Dame
or even a School from the M.A.C there you Have it I think any of those schools/Conferences would really benefit the Big Ten.
I think I am with you on this one. It doesn’t make sense for the Longhorns to come into the Big Ten.
