ANN ARBOR,MI– The NCAA has issued allegations against the University of Michigan Football team for a possible of 5 violations.
Allegations:
- January 2008 through this past season they exceeded the amount of coaches 5.
- January 2008 through last Septmeber,the school permitted football staff members to illegally monitor and conduct voluntary summer workouts and impermissible activities outside the playing season. The NCAA also alleges that U-M required players to participate in summer conditioning for disciplinary purposes, and exceed time limits for countable athletically related activities during and outside the playing season.
- Assistant Coach Alex Herron gave false and misleading during the investigation.
- Coach Rodriquez failed to give duties  to his coaches and time limits for all athletically activities.
- From January 2008 through at least this past September, the athletics department “failed to adequately monitor its football program to assure compliance regarding the limitations on the number, duties and activities of countable football coaches and time limits for countable athletically related activities.”
The University of Michigan will have 90 days to come up with there answer to all of this mess thats goin on. Â Rodriguez can be fired for cause if the NCAA, the Big Ten or the school determines he has committed a major violation of NCAA rules or he has intentionally committed any other type of violation of NCAA rules.

I wonder how many teams violate the practice rule? 20 hours per week really isnt much since weight training and watching game tapes is a part of practice.
I know players workout on there own time can’t R Rod do the same without bringing on the heat. Yea other schools do this and get away with it because of the manner in which they do it legally. Whats wrong with Rod? Is the pressure that bad or lack of expertise which I believe the latter. Rod is not gonna make it and just as well for Mich because they deserve better. The football program is in shambles the worst ever in Michigan’s strong history. Time for the Alumni to hold back money and get a worthwhile coach that can put Michigan Football back in the top 10.
