Michigan goes down 21-10 to rival Ohio St at the Big House!

by admin on November 21, 2009

ANN ARBOR,MI–  Michigan with a loss today will mean the 2nd straight year without a bowl game, that is unheard of here in Michigan. Also the means the wolverines have not be Ohio st since the 2003 season, 6 years!

Michigan wolverines were all turnovers today from freshman QB Tate Forcier.  Forcier fumbled the ball in the end zone to give the Buckeys there first score.  The wolverines next drive led them down and missed the 3 point FG to stay scoreless.  The halftime score was the Buckeys 14-3.

The wolverines didn’t give up and kept fighting, and finally in the  3rd quarter the wolverines get the first TD, making the score 21-10 Ohio. Thats all the wolverines would score the rest of the game, QB Tate Forcier had maybe one of the worst games of the season throwing 4 INT and 1 fumble.

The wolverines had there shot in the end zone which could have brought the score to 21-17 but QB Forcier threw a INT to Buckeys defender.

There really isn’t much to say the wolverines had the game but didn’t get it done, you can’t win with all those turnovers. So with another loss the wolverines will not be bowl eligible and will have to wait till next season to play again. To all the Michigan players and coaches great job we will get it next year! Final thoughts- Coach Rod in 2 seasons now is 3-9 from last year and 5-7 this year, the question is will he be in Michigan next year or will they keep him around? For his career in Michigan he is 8-16 in 2 seasons, and has not beat Ohio St in his two seasons or has yet to get to a bowl game. So the Question today and for a while, whats goin to happen with coach Rod will he stay or will he be out of here?
