Michigan heads to East Lansing to play Little Brother!

by admin on October 1, 2009

This Saturday the Michigan Wolverines will stay in state and travel to play rival and “Little Brother” as former Michigan RB Mike Hart would say to play Michigan St in East Lansing, Mi.  The Wolverines are 1-1 the last 2 years against the Spartans,  in 2007 the wolverines beat State 28-24 in Lansing, and last year in 2008 the Spartans beat Michigan 35-21 at the big house.  This year the Spartans have started the season off 1-3 and have lost 3 in a row, and are goin to be playing are #22 wolverines who are 4-0 this year!  Even though the Spartans are off to such a bad start they are still goin to fight and want to beat rival Michigan, especially at home. Freshman QB Tate Forcier who hurt his shoulder in last weeks win over Indiana in the 2:29 left of the game, though there is some soreness Tate will be ready to play Saturday against Michigan St.  You can watch this game this Saturday on the Big Ten Channel at 12:00 PM ET in East Lansing at Spartan stadium. Weather should be rainy with a low of 45 degrees and a high of 53, and a 60% precip.

What to watch for Saturday:

-Forcier coming off a slight injury and playing his first road game.

- Michigan trying to stay unbeaten

-Rival against Michigan St

- Key to winning is the D, they have to step up and get to the QB.

“I was just laughing. I thought it was funny. They got excited. Sometimes you get your little brother excited when you’re playing basketball and you let him get the lead. Then you just come and take it back.”

—Mike Hart on Nov. 3, 2007
