Michigan Athletic Director to retire next year.

Ann Arbor, Michigan. — As of September 4th, 2010 Bill Martin the University of Michigan Athletic Director will retire. Michigan athletic coaches say that Martin did some good things for Michigan and sad to see him leave and applaud him for improving the University’s facilities.  ”What he’s done facility-wise and fiscally for the department has been amazing. It’s going to be sad to see him go,” said football coach Rich Rodriguez, whom Martin hired. “I certainly appreciate everything he’s done for us since I’ve been here.” Martin will still remain the Director till Michigan finds there chosen person and after he will remain a advisor till his time is over in September 2010.
