MICHIGAN 1-0!

Michigan coming into the season had a horrible season last , In fact the worst in school history, also having lost the last to season two season openers at home.  Michigan started the game holding the broncos and michigans first score came in the 8:00 min of the first quarter. They went on 7 plays for 52 yards and a throw from Forcier to WR Hemingway for the score.  The next offensive show for the wolverines coach Rod put in Freshman Denard Robinson and the first play of he came of a block and ran a 43 yard TD down the field, he was just to fast to touch. That play made the score 14-0 with 3:00 left in the first quarter, and Michigan fans were goin crazy! The Michigan D the whole 1st quarter looked strong and physical and made W. Michigan QB  Tim Heller real unconfortable, sacking him a couple times and the Michigan D forced a INT from Heller in the 1st. 2nd quarter was all about Michigan again with there D and there offense.  In the 12:34 min QB Tate Forcier threw another TD pass to #86 Kevin Koger TE bringin the score up to 21-0.  In the 7:34 min the wolverines were able to tack on 3 more points from a 44 yard FG.  As the quarter goes on the Defense still pesters heller and has no answer for his team. In the 3:30 min of the first half QB Forcier throws again another TD pass down field for 44 yards to Junior Hemingway, and it was 31-0 from there. The Broncos had there chance to get on the board before halftime but failed to the 3 point FG with 30 sec left.  At halftime the wolverines had 289 total yards on offense.

The 3rd quarter was pretty much set at the same score 31-0 but coach Rodriquez gave Sheridan, the Junior QB a shot. The first couple plays he played well and got them to the endzone, but had forced a pass and was picked off from a Broncos defender. 4th quarter Heller throws again another pick to the wolverines defense, but after that Heller got to be a little bit more comfortable and finally threw a TD pass down field for 70 plus yards to his WR in the 10:40 min in the 4th quarter and the score was 31-7 Michigan.  In the 7:00 min of the 4th michigan D had forced another fumble. As the game winded down coach had put in 4th string QB Cone in but nothing great happened there.

Other then that Michigan looked great today! Michigan fans I know are excited for the year. today the D looked real good in the 1st half and the offense didnt seem to have trouble as they scored 31 points in the game and put up 197 passing yards and 242 rushing yards and only holding Western Michigan to only 38 yards rushing Todays attendance at the Big House was 109,019.  Next week Michigan will host #23 Notre Dame at the Big House! GO BLUE
